Members of the Symphonic Band are mostly non-music majors and an audition is not required for acceptance. They perform music of the 20th and 21st centuries as does the Wind Ensemble but with less technical demand. Students from other disciplines from across the campus are encouraged to join. It is conducted by Catherine Rand.
